Berkshire Economic Commentary 2010 - April

April has been a quiet month for business across Berkshire and for its residents.  A slight fall in unemployment, a slight rise in vacancies but the status quo essentially remaining.  Gains are slowly being made across the region but with no corresponding upsurge in vacancies or falls in unemployment.  Firms appear to be better utilising their existing resources rather than increasing their workforce.
