Berkshire Economic Commentary 2010 - January

This new year has started far more positively than the last one.  There have been no high profile companies going into liquidation and no large-scale redundancies.  Unemployment figures have fallen for the second consecutive month, with nearly 1,500 less JSA claimants in December 2009 than there were in October 2009.  The positive news far outweighs the negative and the UK is technically (but only just) out of recession.
