Berkshire Economic Commentary 2010 - June

Although a relatively slow month, there have been significant falls in unemployment and a significant rise in vacancies.  It is of concern, however, that vacancies have risen in Berkshire by a quarter of that of the South East and only by a third of that of England.  Berkshire is currently lagging behind in terms of job availability, the reasons for which are not known at this time.
