Berkshire Economic Commentary 2010 - September

When a month of positive and negative news items can be summed up on one page, it is clear that although nothing is going majorly wrong, nothing is going majorly right either.  Businesses are trying to cope with the decrease in demand and the public sector is planning on how to make drastic cuts to budgets without affecting core activities and services.  Post spending review (11 October) and once Local Enterprise Partnerships have been agreed, budgets and priorities will begin to be set and hopefully uncertainties reduced.
